- Tourniquet is used to control venous & arterial circulation to an extremity for a period of time when patient is in a life-threatening state as a result of continuous bleeding.
- Elastic band is used to fasten the upper arm
- The interface between the elastic band and the arm is so small that intensify of pressure becomes large
